they "adjusted" themselves to close up the gap? There apparently was enough thread to secure the subframe to the car so that there is no slop. All I can say is that whatever the scenario, the 92446's work very well. I may buy some of Zspeed's inventory, and just add a set of the rear cups under the front brackets to close up any gap. From a roll center perspective, it would be better to have the subframe up against the chassis vs spaced 10mm away. I currently have nismo subframe bushings in my Z, but liked the whitelines so much I'm considering swapping them out
